Help can be accessed through various avenues depending on individual needs. Our resources include: individual therapy, group therapy, inpatient care, and outpatient services.

Whether you're looking for assistance close to home or in a neighboring community, we do the research so you don't have to.

About the Young Minds Initiative

The Young Minds Initiative (YMI) seeks to educate and prioritize the importance of youth mental health, raise awareness, and decrease the stigma around the topic.

Led by Fountain Hills residents, YMI aims to provide resources to youth and their families who seek help for their mental health. YMI understands that everyone has personalized needs that must be met by services, and we recognize that it can sometimes be a challenging process finding the best solutions.

With the help of our community partners, the Young Minds Initiative hopes to bridge the gap between mental health services in and nearby the area and community members who seek support.

Services found on our website address a variety of needs and offer education on many issues, including:

  • Anxiety

  • Bullying

  • Depression

  • Domestic violence

  • Eating disorders

  • Equine therapy

  • Grief counseling

  • Homelessness

  • LGBTQ+ issues

  • PTSD

  • School-based programs

  • Substance & alcohol addiction

  • Suicidal ideation

  • And more

"Mental health problems don't define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, you are not the rain."
